This podcast contains a number of guided meditation and imagery exercises. Several are original recordings of Compassion Focused Therapy Founder, Dr. Paul Gilbert. Others are recorded by Dr. Dennis Tirch. They are free for download, and can be listened to with the audio player here. A number of these practices are a companion to the work found in The Compassionate Mind Guide to Overcoming Anxiety and the CFT series of books published by New Harbinger. There are also audio resources for mindfulness, acceptance and compassion training from other therapists, teachers and traditions here. We hope that these recordings guide and inform your practice, while we remember that working with a teacher, therapist or community of practitioners is important. If you are working with psychological distress, please contact us, or a local treatment provider. Please remember to work at your own pace in cultivating compassion, and in any contemplative practice, and remember your freedom to engage or withdraw from any practice, as you see fit, taking good care of yourself, moment by moment.
