Amanda Etienne
About Amanda Etienne, Psy.D.
Dr. Amanda Etienne is a Postdoctoral Psychologist at the Center for CFT. Dr. Etienne specializes in evidence-based treatments focused on trauma, anxiety, substance-use disorders, and grief. She views therapy as a collaborative effort and approaches her work with compassion, warmth, and curiosity. She strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for each individual to explore their experience.
Dr. Etienne received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her M.A. and Psy.D. from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Denver Health Hospital, where she provided trauma-informed care to traditionally underserved populations in inpatient, outpatient, and correctional settings.
