Trauma, Transformation, & Resilience Groups
A Sequenced Compassion-Focused Approach for Addressing Trauma
Why Group?
Individuals who have been impacted by trauma may feel overwhelmed at where to start in their therapeutic journey. Our Trauma Transformation, and Resilience (TTR) groups are designed to support you in any stage of your healing.
At a time when we can feel isolated and alone in our experiences, these groups will allow you to safely join in with others who are also navigating their own unique journey.
Gold-standard trauma-treatment occurs in three phases: (1) grounding and stabilizing the nervous system, (2) processing the past, and (3) reconnecting to your aims and taking meaningful action in the present, to shape your future.
Our TTR groups utilize this phased-approach, training participants in evidence-based mindfulness, compassion, and somatic strategies. These groups are specifically designed to help you navigate life’s inherent stress and trauma more skillfully, mindfully, and compassionately.

In addition to the impact on your nervous system, trauma can deeply affect your belief systems and the ways in which you relate to yourself. Building upon our introductory trauma skills group, this series will focus on identifying trauma-related beliefs and developing new, more mindful and compassionate ways of relating to difficult internal experiences.
Emotion Regulation II: Addressing the Inner Critic
Trauma-related beliefs and bodily-sensations can often show up in the midst of engaging with what matters most to us. Effective nervous system and emotion regulation strategies are difficult enough to implement in moments of ease, let alone applying them when they are needed most. This group is designed for participants who have taken prior TTR Groups or individuals who have worked in their own individual therapy to establish these skills
Life as Practice: Connecting Skills to Everyday Stressors and Trauma
Many therapists have their own unique history of trauma, and working with clients in the midst of ongoing stress and global upheaval can be a difficult journey alone. Whether dealing with historical trauma, ongoing stressors, secondary or vicarious traumatization, this group is designed for therapists who are looking to enhance their own resilience and connect with one another. Rather than a teaching or consultation group meant to support your clients, this group is for YOU.
